Our mission is to educate, train and inspire current and future athletes and tactical personnel to meet the demands of their chosen profession and execute at the highest level. Your performance out on the field, court or on the street is too important to not receive the best possible preparation.

We achieve this through practical, experience based programming delivered through web based training plans, in-house workshops and keynote presentations to help provide individuals and organisations with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.

Anita

John is an outstanding S&C coach who uses precise planning and leading techniques to get the best out of his athletes. He is incredibly motivating as a coach and ensures he takes the individuality of each athlete and their sport into consideration. I have worked with John for several years during which he helped me develop my performance from a national level to the World Masters championships.

I have started to work with John at the end of 2020, after picking up yet another injury from running. I wanted to work on my strength to prevent injuries and help my performance. And so far, John has helped me achieve just that: I have run my fastest time over 10km while feeling strong and remaining healthy. I find the strength and conditioning sessions with John have also helped me recover quicker from hard running efforts. All this is thanks to John incredible knowledge as he designs workouts specific to what I need to strengthen relative to my sport and my weaknesses, his passion and eye for detail (he will make sure my form is right at all time, and will correct me each and every rep if he has to in order to achieve that) as well as his ability to make it fun!

John proved to be an excellent addition to the coaching team at the Grampian Institute of Sport. He is attentive and eager to learn to then able to apply acquired knowledge and skills competently. John also builds good relationships with his athletes and quickly earns their trust and respect. This also extends to his fellow colleagues. John is very professional but still able to bring his personality into to being to create a good training environment for athletes where they should excel.
